Nanna Ditzel for Georg Jensen, wristwatch, model 378.
Rare quartz wristwatch with an elongated case featuring a brushed finish and a black strap. The dial has a warm, golden tone, radiating hour markers and red hands. Model 378. Marked Georg Jensen.
Origin: Denmark.

Dimensions: Case 53 × 22 mm.
Period: 1980s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear. The battery needs replacing. Working order has not been confirmed.
Bio:
Nanna Ditzel (1923–2005) was a Danish furniture designer whose varied practice encompassed furniture, textiles and jewellery. She graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in 1946 and established a studio with her husband Jørgen Ditzel that same year. Her work was characterised by experimental materials and sculptural forms. The couple received the Lunning Prize in 1956, and their jewellery for Georg Jensen became a significant part of their collaborative output.
