Eva Stæhr-Nielsen (1911–1976) was a Danish ceramicist and a leading designer at Saxbo from 1932 until the workshop closed in 1968. Her vases, jugs and bowls are characterised by harmonious proportions and simple, organic forms. Working closely with Nathalie Krebs, who developed the workshop’s glazes, she created some of Saxbo’s most distinctive stoneware pieces.
