Bio:
Josef Frank (1885–1967) was an Austrian-born architect and designer, born in Baden near Vienna. He moved to Sweden in 1933 and began a long collaboration with Estrid Ericson and Svenskt Tenn in Stockholm. He is known for his colourful textiles with botanical motifs as well as furniture and lamps in a humanist, non-dogmatic modernism.
