Bio:
Britt-Louise Sundell (1928–2011) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer, educated at Konstfack in Stockholm. She joined Gustavsberg in 1954, where she specialized in stoneware, often in sculptural, geometric forms with glazes in blue, white, and earthy tones. Her works from the 1960s and 70s are today sought-after collector’s items, representing the Scandinavian modernist tradition of simplicity and functional elegance.
