Bio:
Chinese porcelain from the second half of the 20th century was largely produced for the international export market. Traditional motifs such as flowers, auspicious symbols, and calligraphic characters were combined with strong colours and modern production techniques. Sets like this were often made as functional decorative ware and gift items, representing a continuation of Qing dynasty decorative traditions in a modern context.
