Bio:
Svend Hammershøi (1873–1948) was a Danish ceramicist and a central figure at Kähler. He is known for his powerful forms and experimental glazes, where layered surfaces and nuanced colour variation create a distinctive expression. His works from the first half of the 20th century are considered among the most significant in Danish ceramic art.
