RC-CM #17 King Christian IX's 80th birthday. Matching Queen Louise’s. Face-to-face monogram C9 under which the date and years 1818 -8 April- 1898. Designed by Arnold Krog. Height 9.25". Royal Copenhagen commemorative plates created to celebrate special occasions. Royal Copenhagen have until now issued more than 500 during the last 100 years.
