Biography :
Fred Sieger (1902-1999) was a self-taught painter who held his first solo exhibition in 1941 at Van Lier in Amsterdam. He participated in the Venice Biennale in 1948. During the mid-20th century, his style shifted towards abstraction. Additionally, he served as a teacher at the Kunstacademie in Arnhem.
