Gilded bronze Jewellery box with dark blue Sevres style enamel from around 1880.

From 1878 Tahan moved to the address Boulevard des Italiens in Paris and this box is marked with that address.

Measures 10.0 by 6.5 cm.

There is a damage in the enamel on the front, please see picture, and the silk inside has some wear, otherwise excellent condition.
