In excellent condition, one plate with insignificant glaze chipping.
Dimensions: D 15.5 cm x H 2.5 cm.
Schramberg Majolika-Fabrik, founded in 1820 in Schramberg, Germany, was a leading ceramics and majolica producer known for colorful hand-painted designs and sculptural forms, especially in Bauhaus and Art Deco styles.
The Meyer family took over in 1912, introducing the famous SMF mark. Post-war designs by Eva Zeisel and Elfi Stadler became iconic. Production ceased in 1989. Today, Schramberg ceramics are highly sought after by collectors.
