Sven Olof Jakobsson (1917–1952) was a Swedish painter active during a time marked by modernist influences. Despite his short life, he left behind a body of work that reflects a sensitive approach to both landscapes and human subjects. Jakobsson’s style blended classical technique with more contemporary expressions of the time, and he exhibited in several Swedish venues during the 1940s.
