Fyens Glasværk (Fyn Glassworks) was founded in 1873 in Odense and remained one of Denmark’s leading glass manufacturers for many years. The factory produced a wide range of household glassware, including drinking glasses, carafes, vases, and bowls—often in colored or cut glass. In the early 20th century, artistic design became a central focus, and the factory collaborated with notable designers. Fyens Glasværk closed in 1980, but its products are now sought-after collector’s items and represent an important part of Danish design and industrial history.
