A lunch plate from Royal Copenhagen's "Flora Danica" series, decorated with a hand-painted flower and gold rim. This plate bears the decoration no. 20/3550 and was made in the 1960s.

The Flora Danica series was originally created in the late 18th century as a tribute to Denmark's botanical diversity. Each flower is reproduced from copper engravings from the work Flora Danica.
