Oil painting by Alfred Theodor Olsen (1854–1932), a well-known Danish marine painter. The painting shows a calm coastal landscape with beach, sea, driftwood and a faintly visible windmill on the horizon. Signed lower right.

Olsen was a student of Jens J. Jensen-Egeberg and specialized in depictions of the Danish coastal landscape, especially from areas such as Skagen and Fejø. His works are valued for their atmospheric rendering of light and weather changes.
