Jens H. Quistgaard (1919–2008) was a Danish ceramicist and designer, best known for his work with cutlery and utilitarian objects in wood, metal, and ceramics. He was especially renowned for his decorative relief patterns, which he often integrated into ceramics and cutlery designs. Quistgaard’s style combined functionality with organically inspired patterns, where relief details added texture and depth to his works. He collaborated, among others, with the Danish company Dansk Designs, where his relief work became a signature feature.
