Bio:
Georg Jensen (1866–1935) established his silversmithy in Copenhagen in 1904 and soon gained worldwide recognition for his artistic and organic silver designs. The “Magnolia Blossom” pattern, introduced in 1909, remains one of the firm’s most iconic, characterised by naturalistic floral motifs and exceptional craftsmanship. After Jensen’s death, the workshop continued production, and in the 1930s and 40s trays such as this were highly sought after by collectors in Denmark and abroad.
