Set of six “Blue Onion” dinner plates in porcelain, hand-painted in the classic blue onion pattern (Zwiebelmuster). Cancelled with two incised lines to the underside. Excellent condition.

Origin: Germany.
Manufacturer: Meissen.

Bio:
The famous “Blue Onion” pattern by Meissen was introduced in 1739 and remains one of the manufactory’s most iconic and beloved designs. Inspired by oriental porcelain, the motif depicts stylised flowers and fruits. Even pieces with a cancelled mark retain their full quality in decoration and craftsmanship, making them attractive for both use and collecting.
