Ceramic bust, mid-20th century.
Decorative Italian ceramic bust of a woman’s head with turquoise and black hair tones and a reddish blouse. Executed in a stylized form typical of the period.

Artist: Gino Manca (1920–1985).

Condition: Minor wear, a few small chips, otherwise very good condition.

Bio:
Gino Manca (born 4 June 1920 in Sardinia – died 7 January 1985) was an Italian sculptor and ceramic artist. He trained as a sculptor in Milan and worked across figurative and decorative expressions in ceramic and plaster. His works are characterized by elegant stylization and refined use of color and surface, reflecting the post-war Italian design and art craft tradition.
