Table lamp, converted from ceramic vase, ca. 1920s/30s.
Glazed ceramic lamp base with sculpted floral relief in brown and green tones over a matte orange glaze with green shading toward the base. Original metal top retained, later fitted with a modern electrical socket.

Origin: Denmark.
Designer: Ipsens Enke workshop.
Material: Glazed ceramic and metal.
Dimensions: H. 28 cm, D. 15 cm.
Period: Ca. 1920s/30s.
Condition: Good condition with light age-related wear; later electrified.

Bio:
Ipsens Enke was one of Denmark’s foremost ceramic workshops in the first half of the 20th century, renowned for naturalistic and stylised Art Nouveau and Art Deco designs with strong sculptural modelling and refined glazing techniques.
