Decorative wall dish with grape motif, ca. 1920s/30s.
Round glazed ceramic plate featuring a naturalistically modelled relief of grapes and foliage in rich green and violet tones. Matte orange base glaze with soft green shading toward the rim — characteristic of Ipsens Enke’s nature-inspired works from the interwar period.

Origin: Denmark.
Designer: Ipsens Enke workshop.
Material: Glazed ceramic.
Dimensions: H. 6 cm, D. 30 cm.
Period: Ca. 1920s/30s.
Condition: Very good condition with minor age-related wear.

Bio:
Ipsens Enke was one of Denmark’s most renowned ceramic workshops in the first half of the 20th century, celebrated for its naturalistic fruit and floral motifs with richly sculpted forms and refined glazing techniques.
