Decorative fruit bowl, ca. 1920s/30s.
Art Deco / late Art Nouveau-inspired glazed ceramic bowl with openwork rim and sculpted relief of cherries and leaves in brown and green tones. Matte orange glaze with soft tonal grading toward the base.

Origin: Denmark.
Designer: Ipsens Enke workshop.
Material: Glazed ceramic.
Dimensions: H. 12 cm, D. 29 cm.
Period: Ca. 1920s/30s.
Condition: Generally very good condition, with a very small chip.

Bio:
Ipsens Enke was one of Denmark’s leading ceramic workshops in the first half of the 20th century, renowned for naturalistic and stylised Art Nouveau and Art Deco works with strong sculptural modelling and refined glaze work.
