Decorated with Westman’s characteristic retro floral pattern in blue and pink on a white ground. The Silja series was introduced in the 1960s as part of Rörstrand’s functional “El-Fast” stoneware, suitable for both oven and table use.

Marianne Westman was one of Rörstrand’s most beloved designers of the 1950s and 60s. Her colourful and playful motifs – such as Mon Amie, Picknick, and Silja – became icons of postwar Swedish design. The Silja series exemplifies Westman’s approach to everyday beauty, merging practicality with cheerful artistry.
