Bio:
Pentti Sarpaneva (1925–1978) was a Finnish jewelry designer and artist known for his distinctive, raw, and organic aesthetic. Working primarily with bronze, silver, and enamel, he became a leading figure in Finnish design during the 1960s and 1970s. His pieces are recognizable for their textured surfaces, bold geometric forms, and influences from Finnish nature and folklore. Sarpaneva collaborated with companies such as Kalevala Koru and created several iconic collections that remain highly sought after today.
