Bio:
Hertha Bengtson (1917–1993) was one of Rörstrand’s most important designers, known internationally for her strong, functional forms. During the 1960s and 70s she often explored contrasts between glazed and unglazed surfaces, giving her pieces a modern and tactile expression. Works from this period are today sought-after among collectors of Nordic design.
