Elegant cylindrical stoneware vase with a narrow neck and characteristic reddish-brown glaze with darker running tones towards the base – a fine example of Stålhane’s refined form language and glaze work.

Origin: Sweden.
Designer: Carl-Harry Stålhane.

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) was one of Rörstrand’s most important designers and ceramic artists. He worked with both industrial production and unique studio pieces, renowned for his harmonious forms and sophisticated glaze techniques. His works are represented in museums worldwide and are highly sought after by collectors.
