Meissen Blue Onion sugar bowl and creamer, mid-20th century.
A set consisting of a classic lidded sugar bowl and a creamer in the iconic Zwiebelmuster (Blue Onion) pattern, hand-painted in cobalt-blue underglaze. Elegant forms and crisp decoration typical of Meissen’s mid-20th-century production.

Origin: Germany, Meissen.
Material: Porcelain.

Bio:
Meissen’s Zwiebelmuster has been one of Europe’s most recognised porcelain patterns since the 1730s. Painted by hand in cobalt-blue underglaze, each piece carries its own subtle individuality. Mid-20th-century examples stand out for their precise brushwork and classic proportions.
