Porcelain figure, early 20th century.
Hand-painted figure depicting a woman in traditional folk costume, standing on a rectangular base decorated overglaze. Underside with the inscription “MARCHEN CHRILLES BACHERS” and the Juliane Marie mark.
Marked and cancelled with one incised line.

Origin: Denmark, Royal Copenhagen.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 30 cm, D. 11 cm.
Period: Early 20th century.
Condition: Very good condition with light signs of wear. Cancelled with one incised line.

Bio:
Royal Copenhagen, founded in 1775, is renowned for its exceptional porcelain craftsmanship, detailed hand-painting, and iconic marks such as the Juliane Marie signature. In the early 1900s, the manufactory created numerous figurative works inspired by national costumes and naturalistic themes, executed with high artistic refinement.
