Pentti Sarpaneva was a key figure in Finnish modernist design, particularly recognised for his work combining glass and metal. Through his collaboration with Turun Hopea during the 1960s and 70s, he produced functional objects with a strong sculptural presence, where material contrast and architectural structure play a defining role.
