Small rounded stoneware vase with a softly curved form and monochrome celadon glaze in a pale green tone. The glaze shows subtle tonal variations and a calm surface typical of Stålhane’s restrained and harmonious design language.

Carl-Harry Stålhane was one of the most important Swedish ceramic artists of the 20th century and worked for many years at Rörstrand. His work is characterised by simple, sculptural forms and refined glazes, often inspired by Asian ceramics and modernist ideals of balance and proportion.
