Søholm, Bornholm, vase.
Globular thrown stoneware vase with a light ground glaze and hand-decorated organic motifs in blue, green and brown tones. A characteristic Søholm piece from the period, bearing the factory stamp to the base and retaining original stickers.

Origin: Denmark, Bornholm.
Material: Stoneware.
Dimensions: H. 12 cm, D. 13 cm.
Period: 1970s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Søholm Stentøj was founded on the island of Bornholm in 1835 and became one of Denmark’s most important ceramic producers during the 20th century. The workshop is particularly known for its stoneware, expressive glazes and strong decorative identity. Søholm reached its peak from the 1950s through the 1970s and closed in 1996, with its ceramics remaining highly sought after by collectors.
