Bio:
Wood & Sons was founded in Staffordshire in 1865 and became an important producer of English faience and tableware. The factory is particularly known for its decorative transferware patterns, often featuring historical and pastoral scenes. Production included both everyday wares and more decorative items, many of which were widely exported. Collaboration and parallel production for companies such as Mason’s were common during the period.
