Per Weiss Unique Ceramic Dish with Motif of Mysselhøj, Signed 1990
Unique ceramic dish executed and signed by the Danish ceramic artist Per Weiss (b. 1953) in 1990. The dish is decorated in colorful tones with a motif of Mysselhøj, an ancient burial mound located about 1 km west of Gammel Lejre near Roskilde, where both Per and Lene Weiss previously lived. The motif is inspired by the historic landscape surrounding Lejre and is executed as a unique artistic piece.
The dish has been assessed as a collaborative work by both Per Weiss and Lene Weiss. This evaluation has been established by our in-house appraiser as well as Hørsholm Auction House.
