Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 in Copenhagen under the patronage of Queen Dowager Juliane Marie. The manufactory is internationally renowned for its hand-painted porcelain and high craftsmanship standards. The Saxon Flower decoration draws inspiration from 18th-century European porcelain traditions and was produced in several variations throughout the 20th century. Hans Hansen (1884–1940) established his silversmith workshop in Kolding in 1906 and became recognised for refined craftsmanship and elegant design, continued by the company during the mid-20th century.
