Bio:
Poul Kastrup (1920–1987) was a Danish painter born in Aarhus. He is known primarily for figurative compositions and urban landscapes inspired by European city life, particularly Paris. His work often reflects an impressionistic approach with soft colour transitions and expressive brushwork, emphasising atmosphere, light, and movement within the scene. Kastrup exhibited in Denmark during the mid-20th century, and his works appear in both private collections and regional exhibitions.
