Bio:
Carl Halier (1873–1948) was a Danish ceramicist and sculptor, known for his experimental glazes and organic forms. He worked for Royal Copenhagen and played an important role in the development of Danish art ceramics in the first half of the 20th century. His work is characterised by a painterly approach to glaze and form, often featuring soft transitions and muted colours.
