Bio:
Carlo Scarpa (1906–1978) was an Italian architect and designer, renowned for his work with glass at Venini in Murano from the 1930s to the 1940s. He transformed modern glass design through innovative use of layered colours, surfaces and techniques, and his works are today considered among the most important in Venetian glass.
