Bio:
Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most important designers, working across glass, ceramics, silver and graphic design. He collaborated closely with Iittala and is particularly known for his organic forms inspired by nature, especially ice and water. His works are iconic within Nordic modernism and are represented in museums worldwide.
