Karl Hansen Reistrup for Kähler, vase with handles.
Decorative stoneware vase with iridescent lustre glaze in deep violet and metallic tones. The model features two characteristic handles and a rounded body, typical of Kähler’s artistic production in the late 19th century.
Origin: Denmark.

Bio:
Karl Hansen Reistrup (1863–1929) was a Danish ceramicist, sculptor, and artist associated with Kähler in Næstved. He played a key role in shaping Kähler’s artistic direction around 1900, particularly through figurative decoration and experimental glaze techniques, including lustre. His works are today highly sought after within Danish art pottery.
