Axel Salto (1889–1961) was a prominent Danish artist, ceramicist and designer, renowned for his groundbreaking work in porcelain and stoneware. His design language was defined by nature-inspired structures, sculptural strength and experimental aesthetics. Through his work for Royal Copenhagen, he became a central figure in the development of modern Danish ceramic design.
