Josef Inwald (1860–1925) was an important Bohemian glass manufacturer and industrialist, known for developing the Inwald Glassworks into one of Central Europe’s leading producers of decorative and functional glass. The Barolac line, produced in Czechoslovakia during the 20th century, gained international recognition for its elegant pressed glass designs and distinctive relief ornamentation, often featuring exotic and naturalistic motifs.
