Ribbed jam jar in light blue ceramic with silver-plated lid, accompanied by a Georg Jensen Acorn sterling silver spoon.
Origin: Denmark.
Material: Ceramic, silver plate, sterling silver.
Dimensions: Jar H. 8 cm, D. 10 cm. Spoon L. 10 cm.
Period: Mid 20th century.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.
Bio:
Georg Jensen (1866–1935) was a Danish silversmith and designer internationally celebrated for his exceptional silverwork and organic Art Nouveau-inspired style. His workshop, founded in Copenhagen in 1904, became one of Denmark’s most influential design houses with a lasting legacy in Scandinavian silver design.
