Aluminia was founded in Copenhagen in 1863 and was one of Denmark’s most significant faience manufacturers, known for its high level of craftsmanship and decorative ceramic pieces. In 1882, the factory became associated with Royal Copenhagen and throughout the 20th century produced a wide range of iconic figures, tableware, and art objects, which are now highly sought-after collectibles within Danish design history.
