Bing & Grøndahl Butterfly vinegar bottle.
Elegant porcelain vinegar bottle with hand-painted butterfly decoration in blue underglaze, dating from the 1920s, with stopper and handle. Factory second example canceled with one incised line.

Origin: Denmark.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 14 cm, W. 8 cm.
Period: 1920s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Bing & Grøndahl was founded in Copenhagen in 1853 by sculptor Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl (1836–1900) together with brothers Meyer Hermann Bing (1807–1883) and Jacob Herman Bing (1800–1875). The company became internationally renowned for fine porcelain, particularly underglaze-decorated tableware and artistic figurines, and remains one of Denmark’s most significant porcelain manufacturers.
