Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most significant designers and sculptors, internationally celebrated for his work in glass, porcelain, silver, and industrial design. His style combined organic natural lines with functionalist simplicity. For Rosenthal Studio-Line, he created sophisticated porcelain series that united sculptural elegance with practical usability.
