Bio:
Arne Bang (1901-1983) was a Danish ceramicist and sculptor, educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts under Einar Utzon-Frank. He is particularly renowned for his sculptural stoneware vases and organic forms, often inspired by natural contours and surfaces. Works from his Copenhagen studio are considered among the most important contributions to 20th-century Danish studio ceramics.
