The production became renowned for its refined craftsmanship, fine porcelain and richly detailed historical decoration inspired by European art and cultural history. In the early 20th century, several Italian workshops produced decorative porcelain objects in the Capodimonte style, often featuring elaborate gilding and historical scenes, making them highly collectible among European porcelain enthusiasts today.
