Mari Simmulson (1911-2000) was an Estonian-born Swedish ceramic artist and designer. She worked for Upsala-Ekeby from 1949 to 1972 and became one of the companys most prominent designers. Her work is renowned for its decorative motifs, vibrant colours and distinctive combination of artistic freedom and Scandinavian modernism.
