Designer: Mari Simmulson (1911-2000).

Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Mari Simmulson (1911-2000) was an Estonian-born Swedish ceramic artist and designer. She worked for Upsala-Ekeby from 1949 to 1972 and became known for her decorative vases, reliefs and figurines. Her works are characterised by elegant forms, refined glazes and a distinctive artistic expression, making her one of the most celebrated designers in twentieth-century Swedish ceramics.
