Bio:
Ulla Procopé (1921–1968) was a Finnish ceramic artist and designer educated at the Institute of Industrial Arts in Helsinki. She joined Arabia in 1948 and became one of Finland’s most influential ceramic designers. Her Ruska series, introduced in 1960, became one of Arabia’s greatest international successes and remains an icon of Nordic design today.
