"The Chair" model JH503 designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949 and manufactured by Johannes Hansen in the 1960s. Crafted in oak with a seat upholstered in vegetable-tanned natural leather. The chair became internationally recognized after being used in the televised 1960 U.S. presidential debate between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon.
